Houston sales recruiting firm seeks Account Manager for microseismic services company.

Kappa Search is a Houston recruiting firm that focuses on engineering and technical sales recruitment within the oil and oilfield service industry. We are currently recruiting for an Account Manager as outlined below.

The Account Manager will be responsible for the sale of company microseismic products and services. The incumbent will call on prospects in person and via the phone to identify needs and requirements. The candidate will be required to interact with both engineering and geoscience disciplines within the E&P industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining customer contacts through planned sales calls on existing and prospective customers.
  • Increasing the level of microseismic acquisition and processing in accordance with corporate strategy and business plan.
  • The ability to fully understand the technical aspects of company products and offer custom solutions to customers is essential.
  • Some knowledge of safety strategies and standards for oil fields.
  • Excellent technical, verbal and written communication skills are critical for this client interface position
  • Microsoft Office Professional expertise – Excel, Word, and PowerPoint software.
  • Prepares own travel schedule and productive use of time. Maintains customer contact reports for service and follow-up.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or Geology is preferred.
  • Several years sales experience in the oil or oilfield service industry.
  • Some  overnight travel, mostly local driving, depending upon territory.
  • Responsible for judicious use of company expenses.
