Kappa Search Inc. is a Chicago recruiting agency that specializes in technical sales, engineering, management and operations recruitment and placement. One of our Fortune 100 clients is currently recruiting for a Sales Engineer with sensor products expertise. Duties and requirements as follows:

Industry leading industrial sensor and instrumentation developer / manufacturer has immediate need for an experienced Sales Engineer, Sales Manager to be responsible for development of key accounts to include OEM’s and distributor development as part of our integrated sales team. 


Will lead the Key Account sales cycle from opportunity identification to cash generation, managing diverse technical and commercial issues to successful outcomes. 

Will have direct interaction with Key OEM and Distributor account customers; coordinating all follow-up activities with application and sales support functions. 

To establish and expand or maintain already established relationships with Key Account customers. 

To build and execute Key Account business plan that adjusts to changing conditions and objectives. 

To identify and qualify new business opportunities and closely monitor the sales pipeline. 

To assist in the collection of sales and market trends, customer databases, and competitive intelligence in the analytical sensor marketplace.


  • BS Degree Chemistry or related Engineering preferred
  • 7+ years experience in sales / marketing, solid account management with sensors/instrumentation or related industry
  • Strong technical aptitude, product management a plus.
