Kappa Search Inc. (KSI) is a Chicago area recruiting agency specializing in the recruitment and placement of engineering, manufacturing and technical sales professionals in a variety of fields.
Our client is an established player in the CNC manufacturing industry. They manufacture specialized and precision parts for a wide variety of industries. Specific industries that they target are automotive and medical devices but they work in almost any industry that needs specialized CNC parts. They are currently recruiting for a Sales Manager with the following background.

Responsibilities:

  •  Responsible for the sale of products throughout the U.S. however the majority of the sales locations are mainly in the Great Lakes Region.
  •  Increase revenue in the territory by expanding customer base and by increasing sales of products to existing customers as well as established customers.
  •  Maintain timely and effective communication with customers at all management levels to ensure customer acceptance and satisfaction.
  • Prepare annual budgets, monthly and new business opportunities reports, and sales forecasts.
  • Drive business relationships effectively.
 Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of the CNC machining parts industry
  • Technical understanding the processes of turned CNC parts
  • Experience selling to large OEMs preferably in the automotive industry
  • Must be an effective communicator with the ability to interface at all levels within the organization.
  • Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills
  • Proactive, self-starter, dedicated and a team player
  • Willing to travel domestically up to 30% (limited overnights as most of the customer base is located in Chicagoland)
