Kappa Search Inc. (KSI) is a Chicago area recruiting agency specializing in the recruitment and placement of engineering, manufacturing and technical sales professionals in a variety of fields including chemical, petrochemical, aerospace, industrial and renewable energy. We are currently recruiting for a Technical Sales Engineer for an international leader in the industrial chemical industry.

Key Objectives

This is a position for someone with 0-5 years of experience, responsible for achieving targeted sales and growth objectives in our business, by calling on some established and potential customers

. This position interfaces with a wide range of disciplines across the business unit and at customers and is responsible for several critical tasks to meet customer requirements

Key Figures
  • Average Territory Sales of $4 Million

- Achieve targeted sales objectives in the assigned territory

- Maintain regular contacts with purchasing, research, plant, logistics and business personnel at key customers- Pursue sales leads, promote products and conclude orders.

- Prepare and execute quarterly Margin Management and sales strategy reviews for Key Accounts.

Education and Experience
  • University (bachelors) degree with 0-5 yrs experience
  • Experience within the chemical, petrochemical or asphalt industry preferred
  • Good communication skills
