The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for management of territory sales activities for the Midwest region.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree preferred. Technical discipline a plus.
  • Several years territory sales experience with manufactured products.
  • Machine tool experience is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business Development:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet corporate goals.
- Develops a relationship with key sales management of dealers and OEMs as well as their territory sales managers to support them technically and influence them to use company product lines on their projects.
- Delivers sales presentations to key dealers and OEM’s in coordination with the National Sales Manager.
- Represents the company at trade shows and OEM open houses to promote the product.
- Analyzes sales statistics to direct sales effort toward dealers and OEM’s with the most potential for growth.
- Performs ongoing market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates
- Performs a contract review on all orders in territory to validate customer’s purchase order and fully define needs and requirements.

- Coordinate installations and service support when needed.
- Prepares weekly sales report showing sales volume, potential sales and areas of proposed client base expansion utilizing the ACT system.
- Perform after sales support when needed to ensure total customer satisfaction.
- Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition
- Contributes to product simplification and standardization efforts to better meet the needs of the marketplace.
- Establish and maintain industry contacts/network to identify qualified leads and generate successful sales/business partnerships.
- Consistently create and drive prospecting opportunities through direct calls, local meetings in territory through associations and other networking capabilities.

Sales Execution:
- Achieve individual revenue goals on a consistent basis.
- Track lead generation and goal achievement with ACT software.
- Collaborate with the extended sales team to execute sales strategy.
