Sales Recruiter | Management Recruiter | Director of Industrial Sales

Kappa Search Inc. is a Chicago recruiting firm that specializes in engineering, manufacturing technical sales and management recruitment and placement. We are currently recruiting for a Director of Sales for the following opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Establishes sales goals to increase market share and profitability of products.
  • Develops and executes sales plans and programs to drive revenue growth and margin expansion of company products for existing markets and vertical markets.
  • Serves as the top sales executive on teams calling on key accounts and distributors.
  • Develops, mentors and reviews the performance of the Industrial team.
  • Serves as an effective member of the executive team.
  • Develops unit and dollar sales forecasts, by distributor and product
  • Ensures effective control of sales results and that corrective actions, if needed, takes place to achieve objectives and designated performance targets.
  • Performs priority management for sales activities.

Qualifications:

  • The individual must be able to work independently and complete all duties under the company policies and guidelines satisfactorily.
  • Must be able to direct and coordinate the day-to-day actions in order to fulfill sales distribution network growth.
  • Must have a high level of organizational skills, planning, knowledge and understanding of sales and distribution, experience in managing and executing product sales in order to meet company goals.

Education:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field. Master’s degree is a plus
  • Five to ten years experience gained through increasingly responsible management positions within marketing.
