Aircraft manufacturer creates 150 jobs in Florida

Titusville, Florida can expect to gain 150 new jobs thanks to the new Embraer Aero Seating Technologies manufacturing facility currently under construction. Embraer is a Brazilian company that creates commercial and executive planes and jets, as well as some military systems. However, it's not very surprising they chose Florida for their new facility. In 2015, Florida ranked number one on the United States aviation manufacturing attractiveness list, according to the PwC U.S. Aerospace Manufacturing Attractiveness Rankings. This is the second year in a row that Florida has received the this ranking.

The new facility will be producing seat solutions for Embraer products and the 100 plus jobs created by this new facility will average an annual salary of $48,000, according to the Orlando Business Journal. This is not the only contribution the company is making to the state of Florida, either. In addition to Embraer Aero Seating Technologies, the company is also constructing a 250,000-square-foot building that is expected to create more than 600 jobs when the construction is complete in 2016. This building will be used for aircraft assembly, painting and delivery of the company's newest jets. The Orlando Business Journal reported compensation in this three-building facility are estimated to average around $55,000 annually.

With a total of over 700 jobs being created, Embraer could really benefit from the use of a manufacturing recruiter. Sifting through the list of potential job candidates would become quick and easy with an agent helping to find the ones who are the most qualified.
