EN Engineering’s business is growing in Kentucky

EN Engineering experienced growth and decided to expand its operations in Boyd County, Kentucky. The purpose of the expansion is to better meet customer demands in the tri-state region of Kentucky, West Virginia and Ohio.

The company is investing approximately $3 million into building a new facility, which will consolidate and house all of the Kentucky operations. Currently, EN Engineering has five separate buildings throughout Boyd County. The building will be completed by summer 2015.

The Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority has preliminarily approved a tax incentive worth up to $1 million for the company.

The company provides engineering services for heavy industry clients, such as gas an oil pipeline companies. It currently employs 725 workers around the U.S. including almost 90 workers in Kentucky, and anticipates hiring 80 more employees in Boyd County.

"This is very exciting for eastern Kentucky," said Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear. "EN Engineering's announcement not only will bring dozens of well-paying jobs to the region, but also further signifies the Commonwealth's importance in the industrial energy sector."

Growing companies should work with manufacturing recruiters to find the most skilled candidates for their open positions.
