New Porsche headquarters to open in 2014

The new $100 million Porsche headquarters in Atlanta, Ga., is nearly finished. Porsche Cars North America, Inc. announced in 2012 it would begin building its new headquarters in Atlanta. The facility sits on 28 acres of land near the Atlanta International Airport. It will include a training center, a classic car restoration and display area, a business center, restaurants and a Porsche experience center, which includes a 1.6-mile test track, according to the Atlanta Business Chronicle.

The project began in November 2012 and was estimated to be finished in 2014. So far, it's on track to open by the end of the year. The new facility will have 400 employees.

"Porsche's new headquarters is a terrific asset to Georgia's economy and a unique travel destination for the millions of travelers who arrive in our great state each year," Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal stated. "I'm confident One Porsche Drive will become a renowned address that stands for vision, innovation and success – as well as one of the greatest driving experiences in the world."

Business opening new facilities that will need a large number of new and skilled workers should partner with marketing, finance and accounting and operations recruiters. Operations recruiters can help large companies find the most qualified professionals for their open positions.
