North Carolina has demonstrated job growth in the tech industry in 2014. The state witnessed a significant level of growth in this sector, according to Dice. Dice's report measured the first six months of tech job growth across the U.S., revealing nearly 4 percent job rate growth in the state of North Carolina. This has distinguished the state among tech employers, who have posted more than 2,000 open positions in the state.
North Carolina's impressive tech job growth is also true of the state's general economy. Likewise, according to the North Carolina Department of Commerce, the unemployment rate in the state has fallen from July of 2013. Between July of 2013 to July of 2014, the unemployment rate declined by 1.6 percent.
"The numbers may vary a little bit from month to month. But the basic pattern has been one of very incremental job growth," said John Quinterno of South by North Strategies, a research consultancy company, according to North Carolina Public Radio.
Operations recruiters can capitalize on the burgeoning industry in North Carolina, bringing their expertise to a state fertile with economic activity.
