Vehicle lighting solutions manufacturer Novita Technologies is investing $3.2 million to expand its operations in Hendersonville, Tennessee, according to a joint statement from the company and the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. The company, which designs and builds fully integrated controls for the automotive sector, plans to improve its infrastructure and move to a new manufacturing facility.
The investment has gone toward purchasing a building that currently houses seven different local businesses, which all received assistance from the company to relocate in the community. The new building will double the size of Novita Technologies' current operations, according to the joint statement. Renovations have already begun on the new facility and it should be operational by August.
Tennessee has ranked No. 1 in automotive manufacturing strength for four years in a row, according to Tennessee Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bill Haggerty.
"I appreciate Novità Technologies' decision to further grow and invest in Hendersonville, and for the new jobs that will be created in Sumner County," Haggerty said.
The companies projects the expansion will create 31 new jobs.
Growing companies should partner with manufacturing recruiters to fill their new positions with the most qualified and skilled candidates.
