New World Pharmaceuticals, LLC and its sister company New World Consumer Products LLC are moving their headquarters in Charleston County, South Carolina, according to the Times and Democrat.
The companies are investing a combined total of more than $21 million to move to their new facility to downtown Charleston, South Carolina. At the new location, the companies will focus on developing their IDDOCTM and XRCELTM technologies.
The move is expected to create 38 new jobs.
"We welcome New World Pharmaceuticals and New World Consumer Products to South Carolina and to the research and development family here," said South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley in an official statement. "We congratulate them on their plans to invest $21.3 million and creating more than 38 new jobs."
The companies chose Charleston because of its proximity to educational institutes the companies will be able to work with on research and development of new technologies and products, the Times and Democrat reported.
South Carolina's Coordinating Council for Economic Development approved job development credits for the company.
Companies expanding their workforce should work with manufacturing recruiters to find the most qualified candidates for their open positions.
