Weebly signs five-year lease in Scottsdale, Arizona

Weebly, a website creation company, is joining other technology firms in Scottsdale, Arizona, according to Arizona Commerce Authority. The company signed a five-year lease for a 25,000-square-foot space at the Galleria Corporate Center in Scottsdale. The location will house its new North American customer operations headquarters.

The company is based in San Francisco, California, and now hosts 20 million websites, Arizona Commerce Authority reported. Weebly allows bloggers, businesses and Internet users the ability to design and create a their own unique websites. In the U.S., 33 percent of the Internet population visits a Weebly website every month.

Weebly plans to hire 250 new employees over the next three years to support its growing customer base. The City of Scottsdale has estimated the company's investment will have a $256 million impact of the city's economy over the next five years.

"We're extremely excited to open our new customer operations headquarters in Scottsdale," co-founder David Rusenko said. "There is an amazing pool of quality talent in the area."

Businesses moving to a new location should work with technology recruiters to find the most qualified candidates for their open positions.
