Holley Performance Products to establish a new research facility

Bowling Green, Kentucky, will be home to Holley Performance Products' new research and development headquarters, according to Park City Daily News. The company designs and manufacturers high performance racing vehicle products such as exhaust systems as well as water and fuel pumps under the brands Hooker Header and Flowtech.

The company is investing more than $1 million to establish the new facility, which will be used to develop exhaust systems and a faster manufacturing process. The new exhaust systems will be for late-model muscle cars, trucks and other classic vehicles, Park City Daily News reported.

The Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority preliminarily approved tax incentives for the company worth $400,000 over the next 10 years. Holley Performance Products would be required to maintain it's current level of employment to receive the tax benefit.

Holley Performance Products already employs 250 Bowling Green residents at its current manufacturing facility. The additional research and development building will create 20 new positions.

Businesses expanding their research and development operations to improve their product lines should work with technology recruiters to find the most qualified workers for their open positions.
