Top metropolitan centers for job growth in U.S.

The top urban centers for job growth in the U.S. are, among others, the Dallas-Fort Worth area and Houston. This information was from an economic news release published by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. The news release also found that the largest employment increases in 2014 were in a variety of metropolitan areas.

The news release also measured a number of other economic figures, such as rates of unemployment across the U.S. The bureau found that the largest decreases in unemployment rates were in the Chicago, Joliet, and Naperville, Illinois region and the Las Vegas and Paradise, Nevada area.

Many see the performance of the national economy having positive repercussions on what happens in metropolitan and local centers. Uric Dufrene, executive vice chancellor for academic affairs and professor of finance at Indiana University Southeast, noted that the manufacturing and logistics industry play a pivotal role in Louisville's economy, reported Louisville Business First. However, the state of the national economy has an influence on the city's economy, so a better overall U.S. economy translates to a better economic performance in the city.

Manufacturing recruiters will areas rich with hiring potential, given the improvement of the U.S. economy.
